Traffic jam in Tehran

jeudi 1er mars 2012, par Pierre Dortiguier

I come a lot of miles to see Persian nation
And find such a traffic jam in its biggest town
Where man reach only to the destination,
Through a network of lanes with up and down !
But if you drive a car, and dream as a single
Of fanciful chats with voiceless ladies
When the whole cityscape grows into jungle,
Enter Tehran hopeful, singing your melodies !
Nowhere to find a place ; then forget any appointment,
You just may be amazed that Peri (Fairies) being so honoured
In fair northern district with a large pavement,
Must remain in their castle, by cars not disordered
But who actually sees how the Tehrani drive,
Realizes also the self-control they have !
